Netflix is about to unspool “The Incredible Jessica James,” with the original production set to premiere on the streamer July 28. The movie stars “The Daily Show’s” Jessica Williams as an aspiring playwright in New York dealing with a breakup and getting back into dating.
“She is forced to go on a date with the recently divorced Boone, played by Chris O’Dowd (‘Bridesmaids’) and the unlikely duo discover how to make it through the tough times in a social media obsessed post-relationship universe,” Netflix says in a synopsis of the movie.
Lakeith Stanfield (FX’s “Atlanta,” “Straight Outta Compton,” “Get Out”) and Noel Wells (Netflix’s “Master of None”) co-star.
