It’s been 50 years since the Summer of Love, and to ensure continued grooviness, the occasion will be commemorated on AXS TV with a month-long music event. (Click here for the full schedule.)

The event takes place over the next four Saturdays, Aug. 5-26, with one of the highlights being the premiere of the “Summer of Love” rock documentary on Aug. 12.

Also on tap, a tribute to Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead with the premieres of “Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration Featuring Warren Haynes” on Aug. 5 and “Dear Jerry: Celebrating the Music of Jerry Garcia” on Aug. 19.

A “Rock Legends” marathon will feature quintessential Summer of Love artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and the Doors.
