A new series that premiered on cable on Sunday, Aug. 6, got off to a strong start, with E! reporting that the “Life of Kylie” premiere is the highest-rated new docuseries launch of 2017 in women 18-34, viewers 12-17 and female viewers 12-17.

The announcement cites Nielsen Live+3 data for ad-supported cable premieres in prime time.

“Last Sunday’s series premiere of E!’s ‘Life of Kylie,’ featuring two back-to-back episodes, averaged 1.6 million total viewers, 1.0 P18-49, 633k P18-34 and 506k W18-34, ranking as the highest-rated new docuseries launch of the year to date among P/W 12-17 and P/W18-34,” E! says in its announcement. “Throughout Sunday night, the series reached a total unique audience of 3.1 million viewers. Socially, ‘Life of Kylie’ ranked as the #1 unscripted reality show across all key demos for the night, and racked up 36 million social engagements across all platforms in the first three days following its debut.”

Said E! President Adam Stotsky: “The strong premiere numbers show ‘Life of Kylie’ has struck a chord with younger viewers, who live online, yet made the show a priority on Sunday night. By showing Kylie opening up to her fans for the first time, we were able to deepen the connection they felt to her and further solidify E! as the home of all things Kardashian and Jenner.”

  1. Good Lord
Mr Stotsky did such a ” Bang Up” job at Esquire ( which has subsequently gone dark)
a mere glance at how narrowly this claim is parsed is enough to show this series is no ” hit”, nor is E anything close to Discovery ID when it comes to female viewership.
    Please,
Can we just get some straight scoop once
    In a while?
