Premiere plans are now set for the upcoming limited series “Road to 9/11,” which will roll out over three consecutive nights on History, starting on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4.

History says the six-hour documentary series will provide, for the first time, a complete picture of events leading to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the U.S. The project includes more than 50 interviews with members of the CIA, FBI, White House staff, journalists and associates of the terrorists, among others.

Steve Coll, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of “Ghost Wars: The Secret History of the CIA, Afghanistan, and Bin Laden from the Soviet Invasion to September 10, 2001” and “The Bin Ladens: An Arabian in the American Century,” is the series adviser. The documentary is narrated by F. Murray Abraham.
