Syfy revealed today that its new series starring longtime “Law & Order: SVU” fixture Christopher Meloni will premiere Nov. 29. Meloni’s performance in the series, “Happy!,” “puts the graphic in graphic novel,” the cable channel said in today’s announcement.
Based on New York Times best-selling author Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel of the same name, “Happy!” also features Patton Oswalt as the voice of the imaginary blue-winged horse Happy.
Syfy also rolled out its schedule of series premieres, season premieres and other programming notes for fall and winter, including plans for the scripted original “Channel Zero: No-End House,” the alternative series “Game Face” and a slate of co-productions and acquisitions that includes “Con Man,” “Z Nation,” “Van Helsing,” “Ghost Wars” and “Superstition.”
