TV Gives Diana the Royal Treatment

“I want to be the queen of people’s hearts,” Princess Diana said in a televised interview two years before her death in a Paris car crash on Aug. 31, 1997.

Now 20 years later, it appears that the beloved princess does remain in the hearts of many, and television is recognizing that fact with special programming in commemoration of the anniversary of her death.
