The season three premiere of USA Network’s Emmy-winning hacker drama “Mr. Robot” is just around the corner, and the cable channel has just released the official trailer for the new season.
“Mr. Robot” 3.0 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 11. The series stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday and Grace Gummer.

Malek won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series last year, one of two Emmys for the show, which is nominated for another three Emmys this year. The series also won the Golden Globe last year for Best Television Series in the Drama category.

The series comes from writer and executive producer Sam Esmail along with as Anonymous Content executive producers Steve Golin and Chad Hamilton.

“Picking up immediately following the Season 2 cliffhanger, Season 3 will explore each character’s motivations and the disintegration between Elliot [Malek] and Mr. Robot [Slater],” USA said in promotional material released this week.
