Alec Baldwin will be getting away from his Donald Trump impersonation in his new role as fabled carmaker John Z. DeLorean. Deadline reports that Baldwin will play the man behind the iconic 1980s DeLorean car line in a new documentary from XYZ films.

The project will include scripted scenes in which Baldwin will appear as DeLorean, who died in 2005 at age 80. The report notes that Baldwin will bring along his hair and makeup people from “Saturday Night Live” to help transform him into DeLorean.

“The film is directed by Don Argott and Sheena M. Joyce (‘The Art of the Steal,’ ‘Last Days Here,’ ‘Batman & Bill’) and produced by Tamir Ardon, XYZ Films, and 9.14 Pictures and backed by Ingenious,” Deadline notes. “Sundance Selects is distributing the film domestically.”

Production has begun on the project, which is scheduled for release in  2018.
