A coming-of-age comedy series will wrap it up after its upcoming third season, and ahead of the Oct. 20 season premiere of “Red Oaks,” Amazon today offered a look at what’s in store in the final season.

“It’s the summer of ’87 and change is in the air at Red Oaks. David is chasing his dream to become a director in NYC. Wheeler and Misty have taken their relationship to the next level but face unforeseen obstacles. Getty is making lemonade of lemons in prison,” the company says in today’s announcement.

The blurb adds: “Sam (Richard Kind) and Judy (Jennifer Grey) are finding new and unexplored passions in Jersey. Meanwhile, back at Red Oaks, Nash finds that the club’s future might in danger.”

The show is executive produced by Steven Soderbergh & David Gordon Green. Seasons one and two are on Amazon Prime Video.
