Comedy Central saw a big jump in viewership during the week of Sept. 6-13, with the network attributing the increase to its eight-day “South Park” marathon.

The marathon grew the network’s ratings by 27% in adults 18-49 and 46% in adults 18-34, Comedy Central announced today.

The stunt drew more than 10 million unique viewers across eight days and generated more than 7 million video views and 500,000 engagements across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to today’s announcement.

The season 21 premiere of “South Park” delivered 1.7 million viewers and a 1.36 rating in adults 18-49 to become the highest-rated premiere of 2017 for any prime-time comeday across ad-supported cable.
