Jimmy Kimmel Turns Over His ABC Show to Guest Hosts

Jimmy Kimmel is handing the reins of his ABC late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to a series of guest hosts while Kimmel takes a week off.

“As a precautionary measure, the scheduled second heart surgery for Jimmy Kimmel’s son Billy had to be postponed this week due to the common cold,” ABC said in an announcement today. “Jimmy is very grateful to Shaquille O’Neal, Dave Grohl, Channing Tatum and Jennifer Lawrence for filling his very small shoes as guest hosts this week while he, his wife and children sneeze on each other.”

Here’s the lineup for this week:

Monday, Oct. 30 – Guest Host Shaquille O’Neal

Tuesday, Oct. 31 – Guest Host Dave Grohl

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format. Jimmy Kimmel and Jill Leiderman serve as executive producers. Jason Schrift, Douglas DeLuca, Erin Irwin, David Craig and Jennifer Sharron serve as co-executive producers. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is shot live in front of a studio audience and produced by Jackhole Industries in association with ABC Studios.
