ABC Sets Premiere Dates, ‘TGIT’ Return Date — and Countdown to the End of a Prime-Time Drama

ABC announced a number of upcoming schedule dates today, including setting the return of its “TGIT” Thursday night lineup for Jan. 18. The lineup features the drama series “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal” and “How to Get Away With Murder.”

Tonight’s prime-time slate marks the winter finales of all three shows, and represents the start of the countdown to the final 11 episodes of “Scandal.” Tonight’s “Scandal” winter finale will be an episode called “Something Borrowed.”

The show will wrap with its final 11 episodes beginning Jan. 18 after the winter break.

ABC also announced the series premiere of the new game show “Child Support,” which debuts Friday, Jan. 5, with Fred Savage hosting.

Additionally, season three of “Match Game,” hosted by Alec Baldwin, premieres Wednesday, Jan. 3.
