An event coming up this weekend has lined up some serious star power, including music superstars Kelly Clarkson and Pink, who will join forces to open the “2017 American Music Awards.”
The ceremony, taking place Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, will air live on ABC.
The Clarkson-Pink performance marks the first time the two singers have performed together, ABC said in an announcement today. You can click here to read the full announcement.
Other performers will include Diana Ross, Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez, Niall Horan, Imagine Dragons & Khalid, Nick Jonas, Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato and Shawn Mendes.
Bruno Mars leads the nominees with eight nominations, including Artist of the Year, Video of the Year and Favorite Male Artist — Pop/Rock. The Chainsmokers, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd each have five nominations, while Justin Bieber, Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi received four nominations each. Keith Urban has three nominations, and Rihanna and Halsey have two nominations each.
