Bryan Cranston to Guest-Host Late-Night Show Tonight

It was just announced that actor Bryan Cranston, a four-time Emmy winner for Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Walter White on “Breaking Bad,” will guest-host tonight’s installment of CBS’s “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”

Corden will be out to be with his family following the birth of his daughter on Tuesday.

Tonight’s guests include Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black, along with a musical performance by Tim Minchin.

“Cranston made his West End debut this year, currently starring in ‘Network’ at the National Theatre in London,” CBS notes in today’s announcement. “He will be back in performances Dec. 18-20, and then resuming on Jan. 3, 2018. He also stars in Richard Linklater’s ‘Last Flag Flying,’ which is currently in theaters, and will lend his voice to Wes Anderson’s ‘Isle of Dogs,’ which will premiere at the Berlin Film Festival and be released on March 23, 2018.”

Cranston is also producing a number of projects set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2018, including the second season of “Sneaky Pete,” “The Dangerous Book for Boys” and “Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams.”
