An actor known for his work on the Fox musical drama “Glee” entered a guilty plea today to a federal offense of possessing child pornography. Deadline reports that Mark Salling, who played Puck on the series, “admitted he possessed some 25,000 images of children engaged in sexual conduct.”

Salling, 35, reportedly faced a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison, but as part of the plea agreement he “is expected to spend four to seven years in prison, followed by 20 years of supervised release and registry as a sex offender,” Deadline reports.

Salling is scheduled for sentencing March 7.
