“Film critic Richard Roeper’s reviews and columns will not be published by the Chicago Sun-Times as an investigation is conducted into his Twitter following, the paper announced Monday,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

THR adds: “Roeper was one of several prominent journalists, sports stars, politicians and celebrities who had paid to increase their Twitter followers with fake accounts, according to a New York Times report published over the weekend.”

  1. Who cares! Everybody, and I mean everybody cheats at something, they just chastise the ones who get caught. Like a cop said to me once when he stopped me for speeding, how many times have you actually been speeding and only got caught this one time. It’s a hard time surviving out there in Internet land. Life goes on.
