The Hulu streaming service has handed out new season orders for two shows, announcing that it will bring back both “Marvel’s Runaways” and “Future Man” for second seasons.
The season finale of “Marvel’s Runaways” launches tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 9. The show comes from Marvel and ABC Signature Studios.
“Every teenager thinks their parents are evil,” Hulu says in today’s announcement. “What if you found out they actually were? ‘Marvel’s Runaways’ is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe — their parents.”
Hulu placed an order for 13 episodes of “Marvel’s Runaways.”
“Future Man,” from Sony Pictures Television, also received an order for 13 episodes. The show stars Josh Hutcherson (“The Hunger Games”) as Josh Futturman, a janitor by day/gamer by night who is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time in an effort to prevent the extinction of humanity.
