“Stormy Daniels held on to a shiny gold mini dress she wore to an alleged tryst with Donald Trump in 2006 — and now she’s looking to test it for his DNA, several sources close to the porn star told The Blast Thursday,” reports the New York Daily News.
The Daily News story continues: “The X-rated actress — whose real name is Stephanie Clifford — wants to have the dress scanned for any of the President’s hair, skin and body fluids in order to prove they had a year-long affair over a decade ago, the sources said. Daniels’ reported dabbling in DNA technology echoes practices undertaken by investigators in the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky scandal two decades ago. How Daniels would get a sample of Trump’s genetic makeup to match anything on the dress wasn’t immediately clear.”
The revelation about the dress comes after another development this week surrounding Daniels. On Tuesday, President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, confirmed that he “facilitated” a $130,000 payment to Daniels. He declined to say why he had done that.
The Daily News story notes that Daniels’ “manager told the Associated Press on Wednesday that Cohen’s admission was a breach of their non-disclosure agreement — freeing [Daniels] to speak about her fling with the President. The manager, Gina Rodriguez, did not reveal when or where Clifford plans to tell her story.”
Jimmy Kimmel, for one, said he’d like Stormy back on his show to talk about it. Here’s a clip from Kimmel’s show that includes a parody ad about Cohen’s revelation:
