Humanitas Prizes Ceremony Takes On Added Resonance After School Shooting

Even being presented in the midst of the winter awards season, the Humanitas Prizes tend to stand out for their emphasis on films and television programming that examine our common humanity. And this year’s ceremony, coming two days after a mass school shooting in Parkland, Fla., took on added resonance.
