Jimmy Kimmel addressed the deadly school shooting in Parkland, Fla., in his opening monologue Thursday on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” becoming visibly emotional as he delivered his comments.

Kimmel played clips from Donald Trump’s response to the shooting as part of a plea for action in Washington on the issue of gun safety.

  1. I think Jimmy Kimmel looked at Stephen Colbert’s higher ratings since Colbert started bashing Trump every night and said, “Hey, if I bash Trump AND cry at least once a week for some SJW cause, I might be able to get MY ratings out of the cellar for the first time in many, many years!”

  2. Poor widdle Jimmy wants his gun control. Gun supporting Americans have the presidency, the Congress and are locking down the Supreme Court. Plus it doesn’t hurt to have the country’s most powerful advocacy organization behind them. Politicize these tragedies are you want, but don’t try to screw with our rights, dude. Guns are an important cornerstone to the American experience, and they ain’t going anywhere.
