Actress Rose McGowan, who has been making headlines with allegations that Harvey Weinstein raped her in a hotel room in 1997, reportedly canceled appearances in support of her memoir “Brave” following an incident during a book tour appearance in New York.
The confrontation last Wednesday at a Barnes & Noble in Manhattan was captured on video and has gone viral after surfacing late last week. After being confronted by a heckler, McGowan has what has been described as a “meltdown,” including unleashing a string of expletives.
The heckler, who is apparently a trans woman, is seen on the video being ushered out of the room. McGowan, who has become a high-profile figure in the #MeToo movement, has since been canceling her book signings.
