In the annual Groundhog Day ritual, the venerable Pennsylvania groundhog known as Punxsutawney Phil on Friday predicted six more weeks of winter. Watch the clip below, if you can bear it — but be sure to check out the size of that crowd at the 1:26 mark.

As a bunch of middle-aged men (being generous here) looked on foolishly, the befuddled and presumably terrified animal apparently saw its shadow.

By the way, doesn’t one of those guys look something like Bill Murray? Weird.
