Host and Nominations Announced for ACM Awards

The favorites have emerged and an iconic country performer will be hosting when the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards, billed as Country Music’s Party of the Year, air Sunday, April 15, on CBS.

The network announced today that Reba McEntire will host the ceremony, which airs live from the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Among the favorites are Chris Stapleton, who received eight nominations, Thomas Rhett with six, Keith Urban and songwriter Shane McAnally with five each, Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris with four apiece and Sam Hunt, Little Big Town and Midland, who each received three nominations. Tim McGraw & Faith Hill picked up their first nomination as a vocal duo.
