Now that former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman has left the “Big Brother” house, she’s talking about some of her comments that got a lot of attention while she was in the house — especially her comments about Donald Trump.

In one particular “Big Brother” conversation, Omarosa suggested that “It’s going to not be OK” with Trump in the White House. She was asked about that moment during an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” and provided some background.

“It was a part of a bigger discussion; we were talking about immigration and roundups,” Omarosa said. “Particularly, we were talking about a family of a man who had been in the country for 30 years and had been sent back, and Ross was expressing his concern about what was happening with immigration.”

She struck a less pessimistic tone than what was seen on “Big Brother,” noting: “We have the opportunity to make it OK.” But she added that she found her time in the White House “troubling.”
