The star of a popular reality TV show has been let out of prison and transferred to a halfway house to serve out the remainder of her incarceration. TMZ reports that Abby Lee Miller was transferred from the prison in Victorville, Calif., where she has been doing time since July.
“She’s now at a facility called the Residential Reentry Center,” TMZ reports. “You could say she’s in the homestretch — she’s scheduled to be released May 25.”
Miller is the star of the long-running Lifetime hit “Dance Moms.” She was sentenced to one year in federal prison after being indicted on 20 counts of fraud in a case in which prosecutors said she hid $755,000 in income from the government, TMZ reports.
TMZ says of the halfway house: “We’re told the facility will provide Abby with a safe, structured and supervised environment where she’ll be given employment counseling, job placement and financial management assistance.”
