It’s Oscar time! Today, Sunday, March 4, 2018, is the live telecast of the 90th Annual Academy Awards on ABC, hosted, like last year, by Jimmy Kimmel.

I did pretty well this year. Only missed two. One was the best live action short — I picked “DeKalb Elementary” and the Oscar went to “The Silent Child.”
My other miss was more egregious: I picked “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” to win best picture, while the Academy picked “The Shape of Water.”
Still, I’ll take 24-2 any day. That’s much better than last year, when I went 18-6 and somewhat better that 2016, when 4 of my picks went south.
