An actor and comedian who has been on a roll lately will be adding another feather to his cap as the host of CBS’s new competition series “TKO: Total Knock Out.” The network today named Kevin Hart as the show’s host.

The 10-episode obstacle course competition comes from executive producer Mark Burnett, with Hart also set to executive produce. The show will premiere this summer.

Hart has had a high profile in the past year, with his memoir, “I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons,” debuting at No. 1 on the New York Times Best Sellers list and staying on the list for 10 weeks, while Hart has also been starring in the blockbuster “Jumanji” reboot.

Commenting on his new CBS gig, Hart said: “This show is perfectly aligned with my global brand. The minute Mark Burnett pitched me, I got it and we decided to work together. This show has the potential to make me look tall.”
