A major Hollywood star will be the focus of the next Comedy Central roast, with the channel announcing Tuesday that the roastee will be Bruce Willis.

The roast will take place in Los Angeles, with the taping date and airdate to be announced later.

Comedy Central President Kent Alterman says in the announcement: “Bruce has survived terrorists, Armageddon, romance and death itself. Yet, nothing has prepared him for this Roast.”

But Willis appeared to be ready, commenting: “This ain’t the first time I’ll be tied to a chair and held hostage by a group of humorless assholes for a couple hours.”

“The Comedy Central Roast of Bruce Willis” will be executive produced by Joel Gallen from Tenth Planet Productions, who also served as executive producer and director of the Comedy Central Roasts of Rob Lowe, Justin Bieber, James Franco, Charlie Sheen and Donald Trump, as well as the Emmy-nominated “Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner.” Christian McLaughlin is the executive in charge of production for Comedy Central.

  1. These people need to go online and watch some of the Dean Martin roasts. I tried watching one of the Comedy Central roasts and had to turn it off. It was like they where trying to see who could come up with the dirtiest gutter-filled “jokes”. It was not even funny..Sometimes innuendo can be far better than saying it right out with a curse filled rant.

  2. Amen TV Person!
