Comedy Central Ready to Insult Donald Trump All Over Again

The insults will be flying Donald Trump’s way again on Comedy Central this week, when the cable channel breaks out its “Roast of Donald Trump” for encore telecasts.

The special, which originally aired in March 2011, will have airings Thursday, April 26, at 9:30 p.m.; Friday, April 27, at midnight; and Sunday, April 29, at 11 p.m. (all times EP/PT).

“You won’t see the president get roasted in person at this weekend’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, but you can see him react to burns on Comedy Central,” the cable channel says in today’s announcement. “Before he ever felt the heat from the special counsel, he felt it from the likes of Seth MacFarlane, Snoop Dogg, Whitney Cummings, Jeff Ross, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and more during the ‘Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump.'”

The announcement notes that when the roast first aired in 2011, it was “a simpler time when impeachment wasn’t likely and neither was the idea of President Donald J. Trump. This week, travel back and watch with envy as the Roast dais fires away at The Donald and the incomprehensible notion he might actually run for president of the United States.”

Others who took part in the roast include Anthony Jeselnik, Larry King and Lisa Lampanelli.

  1. What I would give to have Greg Giraldo still around for this one back then.
