A broadcast drama matched its series low in the key demo of viewers 18-49 with its season three premiere. Variety reports that ABC’s “Quantico” delivered a 0.5 average rating in the demo Thursday night, along with 2.8 million viewers, to rank as the least-watched broadcast show in the 10 p.m. time slot.

“It was also down nearly 50% in the demo and over 20% in total viewers from the Season 2 premiere, though in fairness, the Season 2 premiere aired in the fall when more people are typically watching TV,” Variety notes.

CBS, paced by “The Big Bang Theory” and “Young Sheldon,” won the night, both in the 18-49 demo and in total viewers. For prime time, CBS averaged a 1.3 rating in the demo, followed by Fox with a 1.1, ABC in third with a 1.0, NBC fourth with a 0.6 and the CW fifth with a 0.4

CBS led the way in viewers with 8 million, ahead of ABC’s 4.8 million, then Fox in third with 3.8 million followed by NBC, fourth with 3.1 million, and the CW in fifth place with 1.2 million.
