Hannity Declares Feud With Kimmel Is Over — But He Issues a Threat Anyway

Both Jimmy Kimmel and Sean Hannity have now called off their public feud, but with enough loose ends remaining that it remains to be seen whether it’s really over.

As we reported previously, Kimmel put out an olive branch Monday in the form of a long Twitter post in which he vowed to “give my words more thought and recognize my role in inciting … hatefulness.” You can click here to see his full post.

Hannity responded on his Fox News program Monday night.

“In his ending monologue, Hannity grudgingly accepted the olive branch, though he called it a ‘forced, Disney apology,'” The Washington Post reports. “He invited Kimmel onto his show for a fuller debate, since Kimmel has taken on the administration’s positions on health care and immigration.”

Hannity is quoted saying of the week-long feud: “It’s over.” But he adds, addressing Kimmel: “If you do want to start up again, I promise I’ll punch back even harder.”
