ABC has given a renewal to a prime-time comedy, with the show’s star breaking the news on Twitter. Minnie Driver sent out word Thursday night that “Speechless” had been picked up for a third season.
She also indicated in a tweet that the network had committed to 22 episodes — you can see her tweet below.
The series wrapped up its second season in March. Along with Driver, the show stars John Ross Bowie, Cedric Yarbrough, Mason Cook, Micah Fowler and Kyla Kenedy.
Created by Scott Silveri, the single-camera comedy is executive produced by Christine Gernon, Jake Kasdan, Melvin Mar and Silveri.
