The cancellation ax fell today on two series that have been airing on the CW. Breaking the news of the cancellation of “Life Sentence,” star Lucy Hale tweeted: “I was emotionally attached to this story and to everyone involved so I’m a little shell shocked right now.”

Also a casualty was “Life Sentence’s” fellow CW freshman show, “Valor.” Kyle Jarrow, the show’s creator and executive producer, tweeted the news, writing: “The sad news is out: #Valor won’t have a new season. So grateful to the cast, crew, writers & FANS. Thanks for going on this ride with us.”
