Clint Walker, who starred as TV cowboy Cheyenne Bodie for seven seasons on the ABC Western series “Cheyenne,” has died. TMZ reports that Walker died Monday from congestive heart failure. He was 90.

“Clint died suddenly Monday in the company of his wife and daughter … according to a source close to the family,” TMZ reports.

Walker, who was an imposing presence at 6-foot-6, had a breakout role in “The Ten Commandments” in 1956. After “Cheyenne” wrapped in 1962, he went on to appear in movies including “None But the Brave” and “The Dirty Dozen.”

A veteran of many Westerns, Walker was a recipient of the Golden Boot Award in 1997 and was inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City in 2004.
