How CNN Will Pay Tribute to Anthony Bourdain

CNN announced a lineup of special programming to pay tribute to its food and travel star Anthony Bourdain, who died today:

  • A special tribute program, “Remembering Anthony Bourdain,” will air tonight, June 8, at 10 p.m. ET.
  • On Saturday, June 9, a night of Bourdain’s favorite episodes of his CNN show “Parts Unknown” will begin at 8 p.m. ET.
  • On Sunday, June 10, the previously scheduled episode of “Parts Unknown” featuring Berlin will air at 9 p.m. ET, with a special introduction by Anderson Cooper.
  • The Sunday telecast of “Parts Unknown” will be followed by “Remembering Anthony Bourdain” at 10 p.m. ET.

As we reported previously, Bourdain was found dead today in his hotel room in France in an apparent suicide. He was 61.

  1. Wonderful, wonderful. Glad to see CNN showing tribute to a flipping coward who left his pre-teen daughter with nothing but his rotting corpse.

    Anthony Bourdain is a coward. You don’t kill yourself when you have kids. Kids that depend on you. That’s what’s wrong with America. We pay tribute to cowards.

    CNN should focus more on that Heroes segment and leave the weak like this coward and that other coward Kate Spade to rot in hell. Cause that’s the one result of suicide. Hell.
