With the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors still battling to decide the NBA Championship — Golden State currently holds a 2-0 lead in the series with Game 3 set for Wednesday — key players on both teams reacted to the dispute between Donald Trump and the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Deadline reports that both LeBron James of the Cavaliers and Stephen Curry of the Warriors spoke out about Trump’s cancellation of the Eagles’ invitation to the White House for the traditional championship celebration.

“I know whoever wins this series, no one wants an invite,” James is quoted saying.

Curry later added in an interview: “I agree with ‘Bron. Pretty sure the way we handled things last year, kinda staying consistent with that.”

Curry’s Warriors, who won the NBA title last year, opted out of the traditional meeting with the president.

  1. Not sure what this has to do with TV…And it’s interesting that TVWeek hasn’t produced one single link or mention on Clinton’s disastrous interviews on Today show or Colbert over the past few days. Trump’s obviously a jerk, but Clinton showed how much of a pig he still is and crickets from your end…way to be balanced.

  2. Yeah, with black unemployment at an all time low kinda shows how uninformed Bron & Steph are.
