Rocker Tommy Lee tore into Howard Stern over comments Stern made in which the radio host linked Heather Locklear’s recent problems to her marriage to Lee. Locklear, 56, was married to Lee from 1986 to 1993, and later married Richie Sambora, with the couple staying married from 1994-2006.
Radar Online quoted Stern saying of Locklear: “You know what drove this woman crazy? She was married to Tommy Lee and Richie Sambora… they made her f**king insane.”
Lee responded on Twitter, writing: “@HowardStern Queen of media! How dare you blame me for Heathers recent troubles! That was like 24 years ago you idiot! #cowardsterntimewarp you should be wishing her well and not bashing me fuckhead!!! Wtf is wrong with you? I normally don’t respond to this stuff..fucking BS!!”
Ridiculous. Howard completely taken out of context. He didn’t bash Tommy or Richie and also made a genuine plea for her to hang in there and find the help she needs. Howard also told stories about how terrific Heather was to him back in the day and he’ll
never forget how kind she has always been to him. Nice job choosing one sentence and getting your rocks off, news peeps.
Actually, if you heard the broadcast it was more complimentary than anything in my view. Tommy, you need to get your facts straight before you say anything. Howard is at the top of his game…as always. You, no one’s heard about you in long time…since the 80s and you’re pretty irrelevant. People only know you as Mr. Pam Anderson.
