WarnerMedia’s New CEO: Our Job Is to Back Up CNN

Following the acquisition of CNN owner Time Warner by AT&T and the creation of a new media company in WarnerMedia, the new company’s CEO John Stankey appeared on CNN to discuss the role of the company and CNN President Jeff Zucker in running a news organization — and the relationship between the news operation and Donald Trump.

Stankey “says the company understands there is a different obligation of responsibility when it comes to managing a news organization and WarnerMedia will support CNN as they continue to report on the facts,” CNN reports.

    “REPORT ON THE FACTS” not “REPORT THE FACTS”. Interesting turn of a phrase. Wonder what he means by that? Just curious.
