The Netflix series “BoJack Horseman” has found a home on linear TV, where it will lead out from the long-running animated hit “South Park” on Comedy Central.
Four seasons of “BoJack” have run on Netflix, with Comedy Central obtaining the rights to all current seasons. The first season will premiere Sept. 26 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, leading out from the season 22 premiere of “South Park.”
The Emmy-nominated “BoJack” will premiere its fifth season on Netflix on Sept. 14.
“The series revolves around the titular character (voiced by Will Arnett), a legendary but fatally flawed former ’90s sitcom star from the family-favorite sitcom ‘Horsin’ Around,’ who has been trying to find his way through a muddle of self-loathing, whisky and failed relationships,” Comedy Central says in today’s announcement. “Now, in the presence of his human sidekick Todd (Aaron Paul) and his feline agent and ex-paramour Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris), BoJack is primed for his comeback.”
The series also stars Alison Brie and Paul F. Tompkins.
