Porn actress Stormy Daniels, who is suing Donald Trump and his former attorney Michael Cohen in an effort to invalidate a nondisclosure agreement, was arrested in Columbus, Ohio, before the charges were dropped hours later, the AP reports.

Daniels was arrested at the Sirens strip club in what her attorney, Michael Avenatti, characterized as a sting operation by Columbus police.

“Charging documents say Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was arrested for touching a patron at a ‘sexually oriented’ business in violation of the law commonly known as the Community Defense Act,” the AP reports. “The documents said that Daniels, who was semi-nude, allegedly touched some of the patrons’ breasts and allowed them to touch her. She allegedly performed the same act with several officers who approached the stage and forced one officer’s head into her bare chest.”

Daniels posted $6,000 bail and was released by 6 a.m. today. The three first-degree misdemeanor charges against her were subsequently dropped by city prosecutors because Daniels had only appeared at the club one time, the AP reports.

“The law refers to someone ‘who regularly appears nude or seminude’ at a club,” the AP reports. “Avenatti successfully argued Daniels ‘has not appeared consistently and repeatedly at Sirens,’ according to prosecutors.”
