A drama series that blends genres will be returning for a fourth season after the announcement over the weekend from Syfy that it will bring back the horror-Western hybrid “Wynonna Earp.”

As has become a tradition for the show, its renewal was announced at San Diego Comic-Con.

Melanie Scrofano, who plays the show’s title character, told the crowd: “It’s such a testament to our fans that we’ve just premiered barely and we have a Season 4.”

The show focuses on Wyatt Earp’s great-great-granddaughter contending with the Earp family curse.
