‘Indiana Jones’ Movie Pushed Back Yet Again

Jul 10, 2018  •  Post A Comment

Delays continue to plague the fifth movie in the “Indiana Jones” series, with news today that the movie is now delayed until at least 2021.

We reported last month that the movie would be pushed back by months, if not a year, as members of the creative team awaited a finished script. The latest delay is still about script issues.

The movie was initially supposed to hit theaters in 2019, then temporarily had a release date of July 10, 2020. The new release date is now July 2021.

Jonathan Kasdan, who co-wrote “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” came aboard last month to help write the new movie, which will be directed by Steven Spielberg and will again star Harrison Ford.
