Investigation Discovery took the wraps off a summer lineup that kicks off with the new series “Dark Waters: Murder in the Deep” on Tuesday, July 31.

Other new programs on the cable channel are “Someone You Thought You Knew,” launching Aug. 2; “The Devil Speaks,” Aug. 21; and “The Last Defense, a two-hour special premiering Sunday, Sept. 2.

Also featured are the returning shows “The Perfect Murder,” “Fatal Vows,” “Evil Lives Here,” “Murder by Numbers” and “Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda.” The returning shows roll out starting July 26.
