TNT announced renewals today for two drama series, both of which the cable net says are among its “core, powerful dramas.” Following their summer premieres, TNT will bring back “Animal Kingdom” for a fourth season and “Claws” for a third season.

The cable net notes that both shows have defied industry trends with consistent season-over-season growth. “Claws” ranks among the top five cable dramas this year, while “Animal Kingdom” is in the top 10, TNT notes.
