Aug 8, 2018  •  Post A Comment

A TV journalist who was a fixture at MSNBC and NBC News is developing a talk show as part of a new development deal. Disney-ABC announced the new deal today with Tamron Hall.

Hall and Disney-ABC will create the daytime talk show for the syndication market, with Hall to host the program.

Hall has been hosting “Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall” on Investigation Discovery since 2013. She previously was part of the NBC News team as a co-host of the third hour of NBC News’ “Today” and anchored “MSNBC Live with Tamron Hall.”

“I’m so thrilled to partner with Disney|ABC to create a daytime television show that’s unconventional, fun, intimate and sometimes even raw,” Hall says in today’s announcement. “My new partners appreciate and respect the relationship I’ve built with my audience and know that if we create television worth watching, they’ll join us for the ride. I’m so grateful and excited for this next chapter. The landing makes the leap of faith so worth it!”
