FX has been making a name for itself lately with limited series, raking in Emmys with series such as “American Horror Story,” “Fargo,” “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson” and “Feud: Bette and Joan.” And the cable net appears to be keeping up its commitment to the format with two new limited series orders.
FX has ordered “Shogun,” based on the best-selling novel by James Clavell. Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich of DNA TV, Michael De Luca, Michaela Clavell, Tim Van Patten, Eugene Kelly and Ronan Bennett will executive produce.
