The parts of Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson are all set, and now Margot Robbie will reportedly be joining the lineup of top actresses who will battle the “toxic male culture” at Fox News in Annapurna’s untitled movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
THR reports that Robbie is in talks to join Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman in the project, which focuses on the women who reportedly waged a behind-the-scenes fight against sexual misconduct and Roger Ailes. Theron will play Megyn Kelly, with Kidman set to play Gretchen Carlson.
Robbie will reportedly play an associate producer at Fox News.
“The studio, which is already making a Dick Cheney biopic with helmer Adam McKay, is financing and producing the project that was written by ‘The Big Short’ scribe Charles Randolph and will be directed by Jay Roach,” THR notes.
