Report: Fox News Host Leaving the Network for ABC

A Fox News personality will be making the jump to ABC, where a spot is opening up on the morning talk staple “The View.” Mediaite cites sources saying Abby Huntsman is “officially” making the move.

We reported last month that Huntsman was in talks with ABC News about the spot opening up with the departure of Sara Haines from “The View.” Haines is joining the third hour of ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Huntsman is currently a co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend.”

“When reached for comment, Fox News confirmed this will be Huntsman’s last weekend hosting the Saturday and Sunday editions of the network’s flagship morning program,” Mediaite reports.

Ana Navarro, a conservative commentator for CNN who works as a guest host on “The View,” had also been thought to be in the running for the open seat on the show.

  1. Fox News has grown into a joke. Who can blame her for leaving that pile of dung.

  2. Leaving #1 for a wanna be – bad choice!

  3. Good for her to move up in her career. Being a weekend anchor and moving to a regular spot on The View is a step up for her career. It has nothing to do with Fox News. Maybe a little objectivity instead of immediately jumping to your favorite side is in order here.

    • Moving to The View is not a “step up” no matter where she’s coming from.

  4. This will end up being another feeding frenzy for the Left, same as when Megan Kelly left FOX for NBC, Bret Stephens left the Wall Street Journal for the New York Times and Kevin Williamson left National Review for The Atlantic.

Anyone who has been associated with FOX News, or other left-leaning media, is a deplorable untouchable. Abby Huntsmann may actually get it even worse, because her father is US Ambassador to Russia (Russia! Russia! Russia!) and no doubt John Huntsmann has his sights set on the highest political office in America…in 2024.
