Why ‘The Big Bang Theory’ Is Ending

A new report says there’s a simple reason that the hit CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” is wrapping after 12 seasons, and that’s simply because Jim Parsons wanted out.

Parsons and co-stars Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg reportedly make close to $1 million apiece per episode, “but Parsons was ready to say goodbye to the ensemble sitcom that made him a household name,” Entertainment Weekly reports.

“Since there is no show without Dr. Sheldon Cooper, next spring’s 12th season finale of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ will mark the end of the longest-running multi-camera series in TV history,” EW adds.

  6. I was a fan for quite a while but The Big Bang Theory “jumped the shark” several seasons ago. Repetitive scenarios, repetitive scripts with characters that never changed.

  7. Sheldon the “Scatmaster”

  8. it had a good run. And the haters will still hate. Get over it and grow the hell up.
