The kids favorite “Blue’s Clues” is updating its title and adding a new host. Nickelodeon announced today that the show will now be called “Blue’s Clues & You,” with production set to start this month in Toronto.

The show is also adding TV newcomer and broadway actor Joshua Dela Cruz as a new host.

“Dela Cruz will have a new generation of preschoolers searching for clues with the beloved energetic girl puppy Blue,” Nickelodeon said in today’s announcement, adding: “Original ‘Blue’s Clues’ host Steve Burns helped guide the audition process during the search for the new host.”

Burns says in the announcement: “I had the great honor of being a part of the search for the new host, and I give Josh two thumbs up! He can definitely fill my shoes, and the rugby shirt.”
